Hello, I’m Matthew, a candy expert and enthusiast with over a decade of experience in the candy industry.
My passion for candy and chocolate started at a very young age, when my grandparents would take me to my favorite candy store every week with only a dollar to spend.
Since then, I have worked in numerous, large candy stores; being responsible for sourcing both new and nostalgic candies with brands and providing recommendations and advice for all customers who visit.
During my time in the industry, I have developed an eye for what makes a good candy, along with noticing the most loved and cherished candies that are popular among other candy enthusiasts.
I have been fortunate enough to try out hundreds of brands of candies, types and flavors over the years.
My knowledge of candy is comprehensive, from the chemistry of ingredients they are made from to the latest trends in flavor and packaging.
In addition to my work, I enjoy sharing my knowledge with others. Hence, Candy Lovers Emporium was born as a means of documenting it all.
I know the role that candy has in peoples live, it can bring joy, nostalgia, and most importantly, various textures and flavors that we can all enjoy!
